About this deal

Taschen publishes books on various topics such as art, architecture, design, photography, fashion and pop culture, among others.

This is a lovely gift for those who travel, and good for inspiration when planning a quick weekend getaway, but not actually practical as a carry around travel guide, so thick so it'll probably be grief to travel with.

We are experiencing delays with deliveries to many countries, but in most cases local services have now resumed. From Paris to Perm and beyond: Dream weekends with practical itineraries in all corners of Europe Culture, history, natural beauty, fine cuisine, artistic masterpieces, cutting-edge architecture and style--Europe overflows with so many riches that a lifetime seems too short to appreciate them. Read one at a time in the paper that is OK (though not terribly helpful for the 90% of us who don't travel that way). The book is far too nice to cut up, as I often do with more traditional travel guides, and so thick that copying sections to carry with you is a bit of a chore.

very inconvenient huge book, that you can't take with you when travelling, irrelevant information almost to every city. This is why we have invested in the latest transaction technology by Sage Pay to ensure your details are always kept safe.

Obviously it is too big to carry around during your weekend but I tend to mark places or take a few pictures of the pages of the place I am visiting. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. You will never get bored with these books because they can be used as reference materials or even decoration pieces in your home.

The world’s second-smallest continent makes up for size with its intricate cultures and abundant charms, boasting artistic masterpieces and architectural marvels as much as natural splendor. I don't think I'd follow one of these slavishly (for one thing, I don't go to nightclubs) but I would use this to make sure I don't miss some hidden gems in each city. I went to Dublin recently and this book recommended Queen of Tarts cafe which was delicious and beautiful! New York Times 36 Hours: Europe offers 130 expert itineraries to reveal the continent s brightest gems and best-kept secrets.

Our range includes everything from fashion, art and photography books to cookery books, travel guides and much more. These books are also very affordable, making them perfect if you don't want to spend too much money on gifts but still want something meaningful and special! World capitals, ancient nations that once ruled wide domains, tiny countries with big personalities--it's all Europe, and all fun to read about (whether you actually go or not) in this handsomely designed and illustrated book.
